EMERGENCY WATER VALVE INFORMATION SHEET

TO ALL HOMEOWNERS:

It is of utmost importance that all homeowners take the time to review and study the attached water valve information sheet.   It is your responsibility to make sure you, your contractor, and all your subs are informed of this information.   It is highly encouraged that you make a note and visit the location of your water valve tag number to your specific unit to familiarize yourself with the location of your valve.  All water valves to all three floors are located on the second floor walkway overhangs and are all labeled from 001 to 023.  

In the event of a water leak, you will need to immediately go to your valve location and turn the valve OFF.   Note that when the valve is in line with the pipe, the water is ON.  When the valve is perpendicular to the pipe, the water is OFF. 

Do NOT turn water valve on if it is in the OFF position without first talking to ALL homeowners who are also serviced by that valve tag number.   

When matching up your unit number to the valve tag number, note that some units require the use of more than one valve.  Make a note of this and keep posted somewhere in your unit so everyone will know what to do and where to go in the event of a water leak.
